Three Cheers for Micronesia
Another vote in the UN, and guess who came out supporting Israel?
The US, Australia, and…
Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, Nauru and Palau!
Abstaining were Canada, Ivory Coast, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
To put it in perspective, these are Israel’s friends in the world:
Note, most of the countries are too small for us to see. Also note, that every country voting for Israel, except the US, is an island, and every country except three voting for or abstaining for Israel is an island. Kind of interesting, no? Basically every country, apart from the US, that supports Israel falls into this map:

We should all show appreciation, and thank the Micronesian government, and the neighboring islands, for their support.

Posted by: stacey at November 18, 2006 11:29 AM"Islands of the Seas" are mentioned in the Bible about 7 times. In one of the verses, it says "The islands hears and rejoice." It simply means the islands of the seas have heard about the mighty God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob and they rejoice.
Micronesia and the islands of the Seas have been blessed to know the One True God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We are forever grateful to the Jewish prophets, Jewish Bible and most importtant the Jewish Savior, Jesus Christ.
It is only befitting that we, the people from the islands of the seas continue to bless the nation of Israel.
May we continue to do so till He comes to rule from Jerusalem.
